Hi, @mikemikey
Please share the complete message you get, since it’s not clear what the app is asking you to do.
Also, please share the SmartThings app version you’re using.
If possible, please report this to Customer Support since they should be able to escalate this issue appropriately.
Note: Remember that to open a report of an issue, such as not being able to connect a device, you need to reproduce the issue first and follow the steps below immediately after.
Note: In the page where you need to describe the issue, leave the “Send app log” option enabled since this will send the app logs to the corresponding team.
Hello, thanks a lot, I have send the error report, and i have also reported the issue to Zigbang help email which is “kevin@zigbang.com”, no help so far.
Any advice?
Hello again. Yes. You can do it remotely back end, but I cant control via the app, it is still "bad gateway (B0502).
Reading this message again, I see you mentioned a SmartLock App and since you also mentioned Zigbang, I found they have an application for their products, right?
This forum is to discuss topics related to the SmartThings app, so, if your issues are in another platform/app, you need to contact their Support team directly as you mentioned.
Yes, I have been using the zigbang smart doorlock app for the past few years and it was fine up until about a month ago the “bad gateway” error comes up.
so i tried using the Samsung Smart Things app, doesn’t work either.
it is weird that the app only alerts me about abnormal opening (for over 30s), but none of the other access (open / locked) and I can’t control the lock via the app
please see screen shots apps. thanks.
Hi, @mikemikey
So, we don’t have enough information about this device to provide better guidance.
The message you show in your screenshot appears whenever a capability isn’t initialized, but it isn’t clear why the device wouldn’t send these initial status updates unless there’s a communication issue.
I found this article about this type of Smart Locks:
Based on the description, the expected flow is for it to connect to the Zigbang app first and then add that linked service to SmartThings. So, I suggest you contact Samsung’s support to get more details about the error you experienced and the expected flow to install this device.
Sorry, we cannot help you further.
