Can’t even change the name/settings of the network or have it link to a third-party network. (Nor can it share/receive credentials in the standard direct way.) which turns it into e-waste that could easily be fixed in a firmware upgrade. Thread 1.4 and let it share credentials and/or join Hub-Grouped Thread Networks.
Though I suppose the new Unifying Thread Networks does allow another ST Hub to break away from the group its in to join the Dongle’s OpenThread Network (ST-Tizen)
But still run into a similar issues when investigating that route: (Link below for the new issues)
