Please bring back Vacation Lighting Director. No worries while away isn’t suitable, so don’t suggest it.
With vacation lighting director, you created a new Mode, say vacation. You would toggle it and you could stop regular automations by not including said mode. So your vacation lighting would run as well as setting security modes, locking out locks etc.
