Any chance that with all the stuff you’ve done on these switches you accidentally cleared the association group one setting? The “basic set” would normally be communicated through association.
Can you query the switch and let us know what the association groups and the parameter settings are? unless you think this better belongs in your other thread.
Association did change a lot between zwave and zwave plus, but the settings will tell us if that’s a factor.
BTW, A difference in association group settings is sometimes the explanation for why two switches of the same model using the same DTH behave differently.
