Relative dimming of lights at a particular time?

#1

I’m trying to get the following scenario working, but can’t seem to find a solution. At a particular time, I’d like my lights to dim by 25% from whatever level they are currently at. It’s extraordinarily simple to turn lights on to a particular dim percentage, but I haven’t found a way to trigger a “brighten by 25%”/“dim 10%” type of function. This relative dimming is actually possible using voice commands and Alexa or Google Home, but I’d like to assign this functionality to timers and buttons, etc. (I don’t think I’m ready to dive into the world of CoRE if that can be avoided). THANKS!

CoRE can do this!

If
Light Level is greater than XXX
AND
Light is On

Then

Set Level to XXX

The problem is, you might not want all the light to come on at one time so you might have to either group them or make the rule for each light.

Easy enough with a Basic Piston in Expert Mode using an OR separator for each light.

If
Add Group
Add Conditions
Light is greater than XXX
AND
Light is on
When True for Group
Using Light(s)
Set Level

OR

If
Add Group
Add Conditions
Light is greater than XXX
AND
Light is on
When True for Group
Using Light(s)
Set Level

OR

If
Add Group
Add Conditions
Light is greater than XXX
AND
Light is on
When True for Group
Using Light(s)
Set Level

And so on

You can use Trend Setter to easily group lights and just use that virtual switch to change the level of all lights.
