Per title, this fall I bought 4 of the HomeSeer water sensors and one of the batteries is done. There are a million options on Amazon, no way to tell which might be any good. If anyone has a good or bad experience to share I’d love to hear so I can avoid the bad ones and hopefully get something reliable.
I’m not familiar with that specific battery, but I’ve been avoiding Amazon for any batteries except for “standard” batteries such as AA & AAA. For the button-cell or other random batteries, I’ve been buying directly from an electronics supplier such as Mouser or Digi-Key. You will definitely pay more going this route, but you’ll have 100% confidence in exactly what you are buying. It also helps to order in bulk when doing this (they do give price breaks on bulk quantities).
