Hello! This is not entirely a z-wave question, but tangential to it, and I suspect someone on this forum can offer me advice.
My son and I replaced our windows during the pandemic. We installed transformers in the junction boxes and ran 12 volts up the top right of the window casings. I’ve been gradually acquiring Bali z-wave motorized roller shades from the Costco website. There is currently a 15% off deal that expires next week. I remodeled a room this year and I am now ready to purchase another roller shade for it.
Working with Springs Window Fashions has been a nightmare. The Bali portal on the Costco website requires you to choose a power source and a remote. The second time I purchased roller shades, they told me to pay for them and someone will take the battery packs off the order. The order went to production before they could do that. They let me return the battery packs, but it took 4 months and dozens of emails and phone calls to get refunded. The third time I purchased a roller shade, they were able to take the battery pack off the order, but I was charged for it. Even though my receipt shows I was charged for the battery pack, they insist I wasn’t, so Costco won’t refund my money. I am now trying to purchase another roller shade. I have it in my cart with a battery pack and remote, which I do not need. I have spoken to seven people at Springs Window Fashions over the last couple weeks. They are not helpful. I do not know the name of the person who took the battery pack off the order last time. He seems like he’s the only one who can help. If you contact Springs Window Fashions from their website form, you get a non-helpful answer a week later.
Does anyone have advice for me?
