Price vary slightly depending on the seller but it looks like most of the Amazon sellers, including Amazon itself, have dropped the Phillips hue go price to about $72. This is a significant drop according to Camel Camel Camel.
That Hue Go is a battery operated color changing light about half the size of a popcorn bowl. But not very bright (120 lm on battery, 300 lm on mains). So good for mood lighting or nightlight. Not great for notifications, because after three hours of battery it turns itself off and you can’t control it from the network until you put it back on power. So good for some applications, but not as versatile as a plug-in.
