i easily connected my ST to alexa and my front door lock and tv, although the alexa only recognizes the tv as a switch which i assume is proper. but i can’t get my ST connected to GH. in the GH mobile app, i add new device, home automation, ST, and then authorize GH much like i did with alexa, then GH says cannot connect. because my alexa had no issues, I’m assuming there isn’t any network issues, I’ve rebooted all my network equipment.
couldn’t update the settings, check connection.
i checked with GH support and they said they don’t support my devices, which i imagine is BS but why wouldn’t it allow me to setup an empty hub. they said you can’t. i have a feeling they were just trying to get rid of me. anyone try to setup an empty hub? anyone have suggestions for my issue?
