How do I pair my Echo with my bose bluetooth speaker
Your can pair a speaker to your Dot and the Dots audio will come out of it. I’ve had one paired for a while now and is always connected. I just lose the first bit of the audio while it’s playing.

This is not 100% correct, the echo dot can also work as a Bluetooth speaker for a media device. I tested it with my phone.
Yes, Echo dot can work as a Bluetooth speaker (it supports A2DP SNK & SRC). I use it on Raspberry Pi 3 (UPnP/DLNA renderer) but it’s a little tricky.
