org.springframework.transaction.TransactionSystemException: Could not roll back Hibernate transaction; nested exception is org.hibernate.TransactionException: JDBC rollback failed

hi, im trying up do a minor tweek to a TRV device handler, but when i try to save in the ide i get this error

org.springframework.transaction.TransactionSystemException: Could not roll back Hibernate transaction; nested exception is org.hibernate.TransactionException: JDBC rollback failed

i cant seam to do anything with the DH it wont even role back from git hub

Same here but only for z-wave DH…

Same my cloud based DH work fine. Any one know what’s going on. I’m in UK using classic app

We’re also seeing reports from users. Would recommend sending a note to support@smartthings.com as https://status.smartthings.com/ this showing all clear today

Does this happen alot? Im starting to think I should have went with Wink hub

I’m generally satifyed. But yes sometimes they push updates without testing properly. So now and again you might need a bit of intervention

I have been on hold for 30 mins what should I do just wait it out? I really want to try this thing out. How do I create a ticket?

Send an email to support@smartthings.com

Email support as above. But id stay on the phone if you have been on this long

Let us know what they say/do

Well they said they don’t support device handlers and any errors we get while adding them is not something they can help us with. I have only had ST for a mo or so and Im worried they will take away the old app and half my stuff will stop working :frowning:
Is ST the only hub that uses 3rd party handlers? Is that why so many people like it?

Now i only get this line
Could not roll back Hibernate transaction; nested exception is org.hibernate.TransactionException: JDBC rollback failed

Its an ide issue not the DH. Mabey this is an excuse or indication they are shutting down the old ide in favour of the new portal

UPDATE: I installed the new app and clicked ADD DEVICE MANUALLY and clicked Valve and it showed DOME in the list. I clicked that and a few secs later it was added. Now it shows in the old app as well. So I didnt need the device handler after all, I just had to add it into the newer ST app.

i event tryed creating a fresh DH using the CT100 Thermostat
example DH and even that wont save

it wont let me turn off (set to ā€˜none’) the git hub link, could th error be related to git hub connection?

Oh No! Something Went Wrong!

Try using incognito/private browsing window.

Unlikely since the new portal is only for SmartApps and DTH’s can only be done through the Groovy platform. Plus there are too many customers using the old groovy apps, shutting it down would do more harm than good.

Didn’t work …

Thanks for everyone’s patience. As of 11:30 AM EST this issue is resolved.
