With groovy going does this mean that web interfaces like this are going to disappear? Are there any workarounds other than IFTTT? Such a shame as this app was one of the best things about my ST set up.
Good news to all people like me to want the energenie product alive in smartthings.
I have made it happen for etrv with the help of Mira Edge driver from our community which is BETA testing phase.
Will shortly share the instructions for the Mi Home Energenie app and the requirement details.
Regards
Sundar
Thanks Sundar,
I used the old MiHome/Energenie integration, and still have a few active MiHome devices.
That was my entry into smart home. They are mostly ‘archived’ now.
To be honest, I mostly control them via Amazon Echo → MiHome.
Cheers, Aidan
Well done! If you fancied giving the in wall sockets a go I’d be ecstatic!
Will try but unfortunately I dont have any power socket. Will try to tinker it with virtual device.
And all MI Home Energenie product can now work in Hubitat and then we can mirror to smarttings using Mira edge driver.
Based on normal MiHome/Energenie operation, and the Groovy MiHome/Energenie integration, I found the in wall sockets could be treated as normal adapters.
I could be wrong.
Hi Sundar
Did you ever share the instructions for this?
I was thinking the same thing. I liked my eTRVs but was planning on replacing them before the Autumn as they are no longer in ST
Will share something by next week. Caught up with regular work.
Need to upload the code to github to share with all. The code is stable now and working for almost 3 to 4 months without any issue.
