App update support for SmartThings is scheduled to be terminated beginning December 10, 2024 in Android 10 or lower OS versions.
After December 10, 2024, you can continue to use the SmartThings app you have been using on Android 10 or lower. However, it may become difficult to use new features and services supported through app updates and to connect with some smart home devices. Furthermore, please note that if you delete the app, you will not be able to reinstall the app on Android 10 or lower OS versions.
For devices that can be updated to Android 11.0 or higher, the SmartThings app can be updated after updating the operating system."

App update support for SmartThings is scheduled to be terminated beginning December 19, 2024 in iOS 15 or lower OS versions.
After December 19, 2024, you can continue to use the SmartThings app you have been using on iOS 15 or lower. However, it may become difficult to use new features and services supported through app updates and to connect with some smart home devices. Furthermore, please note that if you delete the app, you will not be able to reinstall the app on iOS 15 or lower OS versions.
For devices that can be updated to iOS 16 or higher, the SmartThings app can be updated after updating the operating system.
