Anyone know anything about this? Would solve a ton of my issues, but I subscribe to the idea that if it seems to good to be true it probably is! They do advertise ST compatibility though… [image] Home | BOND Home by Olibra BOND Home connects your existing remote controlled ceiling fans and more to your smart home. Aren’t most of the current fan controls RF and not IR? Or does this mimic the RF? The Faq semes rather faqless. $99.00 seems a tad high IMHO

Could be great, could be crap. That’s the problem with vaporware, it doesn’t really exist yet. Not for actual sale and real-world testing, at least.

It’s my understanding that a new improved Bond Controller is currently in Beta testing. Here’s their updated website: [image] Home | BOND Home by Olibra BOND Home connects your existing remote controlled ceiling fans and more to your smart home. Works with smart phone, Amazon Echo, or Google Home.

I received my Bond 3 weeks ago. Setup was a breeze and it controls all three of my Home Depot Decorators Collection RF remote fans and lights. ST integration is minimal at present (through ifttt). $99 vs $90 each fan if I went with replacement controllers.

More active thread on Bond here: [image] Make your existing non z-wave, RF remote controlled Ceilng Fans Smart (Bond) Devices & Integrations So my husband stumbled across the Bond Remote Controller. I had to share it. This hub takes your existing remote controlled ceiling fans and makes them smart without any rewiring or the need to purchase z-wave switches for the fan and light. It’s an RF blaster that is programmed using the existing RF or IR remote. They claim integration with SmartThings. It’s set to ship out on Nov 16th and says it’s $99 bucks. To outfit one fan with a fan/light switch individually, iteiukd be about $90 bucks!! For just 1 set of switches. So for about the same price, you can control them all.
