If have purchased several Neo Coolcam products with Z-Wave, and I really like their price-quality.
They now have a new range of smart plugs that work with Wi-Fi protocol at about 1/2 the price of the Z-wave range. They have IFTTT, Google Home and Alexa integration.
Does anybody have experience yet integrating these into Smartthings (without IFTTT preferably because of the lag?)

Nope. I bought one Wi-Fi plug and I didn’t get it working. Shame because the ZWave premium is high !
You should be able to use Alexa as a “man in the middle“ instead of IFTTT. Not sure if the lag will be any better, though.
Breaking News!!! As of August 2018, a SmartThings-connected Contact or Motion Sensor can now trigger an Amazon echo routine if you live in the US, Canada, or the UK !!!
Amazon has now added the ability for some sensors to trigger an Amazon echo routine (not a smartthings routine), which does let you trigger other smart home devices which are not connected to SmartThings without having to speak an echo command! Or you can set it up so that your echo devices will speak a customized phrase, play a doorbell chime, or various other sound effects.
Any luck white the connection between Neo wifi plug and ST?
