My Somfy-SmartThings Integration

What is the correct line to change CLOSED to OUT?

91/92. The labels in those fields I believe. To change the way it displays in the app.

If you use Automations - they will still show as on/off commands

Probably have a different DH, Iā€™ve lost track of whose is whose. For:
somfy-shades
It is the lines between 118 and 127. They are now labeled Extend, Retract and Stop.
Iā€™m ignoring the upper half of the page. Would be nice to have a DH that is ā€œAwningā€ from the ground up.
Thanks for responding quick and pointing me in the right direction.

I really want to get this working. My ZRTSI is highly unreliable and I think repeating the command would be the solution. Can anyone give me a tip as to how to do this? Alternatively, if the DTH handled it natively it would be even better. TIA.
Jay

Just a comment on the ZRTSI. Weā€™ve found them to work without issues generally. What part of it is unreliable? Z-wave or RTS? I would troubleshoot with somfy to see if your unit is defective.

Thanks Neal. I think itā€™s the Z-Wave portion as the RTS test works every time. You actually processed a replacement because of this - I bought the original ZRTSI from you and did a replacement. Seems incredibly unlikely that I have two bad ones. I have 60+ Z-Wave devices - none of which give me any trouble whatsoever. But Iā€™d say the awning I have connected to the ZRTSI works at best 50% of the time. Not sure how to troubleshoot at this point. Iā€™ve moved the thing all over the house. Closer to the hub. Closer to the awning. etc. Nothing seems to make it stable. Thatā€™s why I think if any command were repeated 3 times a second apart, it might significantly increase the likelihood of it working.

Ok, guys. This is going to be an easy question (I think), but help me out. Iā€™ve had shades integrated for years. Itā€™s been fantastic. Iā€™m looking to add another, but itā€™s been so long I feel like Iā€™m missing something that I canā€™t seem to find in the thread. It has to be staring me right in the face.

Iā€™ve added the RTS shade controls to the ZRTSII and confirmed I can control it from the ZRTSII no problem. When I go to add the virtual node to the Z-Wave network, it succeeds in adding. However, nothing then pops up in SmartThings. How do I get the virtual node to populate in SmartThings?!?

Hi nattyb, did you ever figure this out? this is the exact issue I am having. My ZRTSII says base node and virtual nodes are successfully added, but smartthings app only shows base node controller.
Thanks!

Unfortunately not. Was hoping someone else would also chime in with their experience in remedying. I am glad itā€™s not just me though. I opened a support ticket with SmartThings and they werenā€™t particularly helpful.

I have done this several times, Iā€™m just lost at why itā€™s not working right nowā€¦

Have you checked the SmartThings IDE? Is the virtual node showing there?

I just checked and I donā€™t see anything new in there. I havenā€™t added a new shade in years, so typically when you add the virtual node it just goes to the IDE and not necessarily the app?

Itā€™s happened to me few times and Iā€™ve had to manually apply a DH

@Mbhforum
I want to control my blinds with RTS interface with ST.
is this the product that I need :

is there anything else that I need ?
also, what is the power required for this device ? (110V or 220V ?)

Yes, thatā€™s what you need. Shoot @ZebraBlinds a private message. He can get you a lower price.
Most of us definitely did not speed $300 for it. I believe itā€™s both 110 and 220V.

thanks. I am not at US now and I believe only Amazon can ship it to me. so I will have to pay 300$ I guess.
in any case, I will send a private message to @ZebraBlinds but I really donā€™t wanna lose time.
(I use US Zwave frequency, so I guess that will not be a problem)

btw, this works with ANY blinds that are controlled with RTS, correct ?

Yes, thatā€™s it. 110vā€¦

I have 2 of these ZRTSI II (us frequency) that I will sell for cheap. Please let me know if you are interested. I have never used them as before I thought I would need 4 in my application but only used 2 of the 4 I have.

Thanks

I am interested. Iā€™ll PM you. But I need quick responseā€¦

I cant get this working properly. I have the device handler installed and applied to each o the shades. It will make them go up, it will make them go down but the my/stop button just wont work at all.
