My Liftmaster Garage Doors with MyQ no longer works with Smartthings. Please help!

Hello, I have Liftmaster wifi garage doors with MyQ. I have the MyQ SmartApp but it doesn’t seem to be working. I had the garage door openers along with tilt sensors set up in some of my routines. For example my garage AC turns off if a garage door opens. For a while now I’ve noticed my garage AC doesn’t stop when a garage door was open. In the Smartthings app it looks like the garage doors openers are no longer connected.

Can someone help me get them connected to Smartthings again please. Thanks!

Why Did My Integration/SmartApp Stop Working in January 2023?

Yes, there was a notice in the app, but Samsung abuses those notes to spam us with all kinds of irrelevant junk. I have been trained to ignore the flag showing that I have notices because 99% of the time there is no useful information. I have a lot of sympathy for folks who were caught unaware when all Groovy Smart Apps were shutdown. Samsung has in their servers an exact list of every device that every user of the SmartThings app has connected along with the DTH in use plus every Smart App in use. And an email address to reach everyone. As a former software developer I won’t minimize the effort it would have taken to generate a mass emailing that included a user-specific list of probable at-risk devices and apps. There is a community developed Edge driver solution available. I believe it requires an always-on computer to work.

This Edge driver provides an integration between SmartThings and MyQ using a LAN bridge server. Once you have the bridge server running (via simple executable or docker container), SmartThings will automatically detect and add your MyQ devices.
