More icon please!

Hi
I’ve been do some cleaning of my SmartThings app to make it easier to find my device.
I have manage my room in the app like that … Light , sensor , temperature , outside , motion , plug , and so on…
But I have a lot of light, I find a way with icon to find my device easier , but there’s not much icon for light .
Here a example that I think we should have more choice for icon .

Lamp icon : for bed room

Fixture : bathroom

Bulb: outside .

We should have more choice for icon , I can take a door sensor to trigger my doorbell for example , I can do a lot with a door sensor .
Another things that I do with a door sensor , Ive hook up a micro switch for my patio door lock !!
My door sensor became a lock(yes only reporting the state, but if can be used in capabilities lock , it will be awesome , I’m dreaming)!!

A ceiling fan light icon would be nice too.

Hey, rooms and devices that don’t constantly re-order themselves would be nice too to make it easier to find devices, but we’ve been asking for that for years with no improvement.

Smartthings likes to make it hard to keep us on our toes. :wink:

Do you mean the options that appear on the edit page?

If so, you should send your request to Customer Support because it is a feature in the app.

Through the SmartThings Web page

  1. Enter this page
  2. Click on “Support” in the upper-right corner
  3. Check if the URL includes your region. For example, en-us here: https://support.smartthings.com/hc/en-us
  4. At the bottom, select “email” and describe your issue as detailed as possible.
  5. Click on “submit”

From the ST app

  1. Open the SmartThings app
  2. Go to the menu tab at the bottom-right corner.
  3. On this page, select the option “contact us” and then go to “Report a problem”
  4. Accept the generation of logs, fill up the form describing your issue as detailed as possible, and screen captures of the issue always help.
  5. Click on “submit”. The Customer team will receive this info.

On a developer level, there are some icons you can assign to a device but it can be only one per device profile. Here’s a list shared a while ago:

There’s a door bell in that list, for example, this is the info that you would have to include in your device profile’s metadata:
