Amazon are asking for problems stating “works locally over matter even without wifi”

Hmmm, says you “wire up relay to your 2.4Ghz network, and power on”…which is why it needs a neutral wire 
If it was wire, couldn’t it do POE? Though I wasn’t planning on needing a 2.5G POE switch so soon. Only just got an L3 managed 2.5G switch…or not that kind of G switch? I have a pair of 10G L3 optical switches as my core… replacing 1G L2 Fiber Convergence switches… not quite, but found out why to use DACs… While my APs will do 2.5G POE, I opted to run them off of 12V DC UPS.
Nope, its a matter over wifi device, hence my post. The amazon blurb stating it will still work locally over “matter” without wifi is nonsense.
I’d say the lack of a Ethernet port on the relay would preclude that.
It’s designed to fit within wall switch enclosure so routing Ethernet cable in there would be problematic

This reads like the bulb itself has 4g connectivity , like it’s got a sim and mobile network connection, which it hasn’t.
If this wording is trying to imply you can remotely control the bulb by a network connection via 4g from your phone to your matter controller (possibly even via a cloud service), then it’s incredibly badly worded.
