Lyasi Wifi wall switches (Sonoff plus Ewelink Cloud)

By the Way fits perfectly in US face-plate

Looks Very good.
I have few more left if some one needs it. I will be ordering more. I hope we can connect them to ST

Letā€™s find out the specs for the board and maybe even ask them if they can flash custom firmware directly for us.

So I am looking for a normal switch like this rather than the Itead touch. I ordered one from amazon and opened it up. it looks identical down to the board number. That is actually how I found this post. I have flashed the itead products with my own programs using the arduino ide and have had great success with mqtt and home assistant. The problem with this switch is I canā€™t get it to communicate. The 4 pin-outs are from left to right vcc tx rx gnd. when I apply 3.3v I get the boot up message and I am also able to get it into flash mode by grounding IO 0 pin. So I know I have it hooked up right but I can not get it to communicate with any of the flashing programs I have tried. Even the espressif flasher. Does anyone have an idea?

I would be interested in a quantity of these switches if someone can help me reprogram them.

anyone got any ideas?
Thanks

What kind of price are you able to offer?

I can do 20$ if paid to my PayPal

I was able to flash this switch with Tasmota. Works perfectly with web interface and MQTT on HomeAssistant. Now looking into the code to make WiFi light operate as it should. Does not cause problem with operation but just want to make it better. If anyone has answer about WiFi light, let me know (It is on gpio 13). Thanks.

Here are pictures of my board

Hi. I flashed this switch with custom firmware. I posted details here (https://makingsomestuff.wordpress.com/2017/11/07/flashing-a-gresatek-smart-wifi-light-switch-with-an-esp8285-chip-or-joso-or-lyasi-or-dlx-control-solutions-dlx-ks602/)

Bill, how is the WIFI led working now and how would you like it to work?

Hello Todd,
Now the wifi led comes on and off, matching the switch status. I would like to act as intended, to show status of wifi connection. I have been all through the tasmota code and cannot find how to get it to work. Let me know if you have a solution. Thanks in advanceā€¦

Bill,

I canā€™t find any option to allow the LED to reflect the network status, the options are related to relay states and MQTT messages. I have mine set for the inverse of the power so that the switch has the led on in the dark making it easier to find. Havenā€™t swapped out the switches in the bedroom yet so we will see what the wife says about those.

Might be worth adding a pull request for Wifi statusā€¦

Did anybody have any luck with this? I tried it too. The Wifi LED flashs but the Button LED doesnā€™t do anything. What GPIO is the Button LED using? I looked at the circuit but I couldnā€™t follow the path all the way back to the microcontroller. Part of the signal for the Button LED comes off of the signal to the Relay which implies to me that, that is the power side of the LED which means the ground side of the LED is controlled by the microcontroller somewhereā€¦ For the sake of say it, I do not have this attached to 120VAC. Iā€™m simply using the USB power. More info is better than not enoughā€¦

Anyone know if the OMOTION switch is based on Sonoff?

Andre- what is the part number for this other design? Curious on where to find it And how much $$. Thanks!

No idea, but it uses the same Tuya smartlife app that many cheap Chinese switches do, so at the very least you should be able to get some integration through their IFTTT channel. Itā€™s not as good an integration as if it is based on Sonoff, but itā€™s another possibility.

I purchased one and it looks to be similar design, but with a button instead of the touch sensor. DLX-KS602S.

Having read this thread and searching on the net I ran across this blog as well. https://ucexperiment.wordpress.com/2017/11/14/reprogramming-a-lyasi-wifi-wall-switch-with-esp8285/

I bought the KS-602S (This model - https://www.ebay.ca/itm/162895055733) and took some photos:

I superimposed the images to confirm that you can likely just ground the pad under the board to avoid the tweezers.

Since Iā€™m limited on the photos I can upload I will add to the thread .

Slightly different KS-602

One last one, with super imposed with the bottom and top of the board.

I have reached my limit on posting links or upload I canā€™t share it properly. https://i.imgur . com/yP6N6sq.jpg
