Yes, Home Depot (sorry for this being in the Lowes thread).
They have reached the end of the clearance cycle and are supposed to be removed from the store by now.
I just tried to get those kits for $.01 but the manager came over and said that she couldn’t sell it to me for that and took it away to be “shipped back to the manufacturer.”
I got a few of these kits for $0.01 too and it felt like I’m stealing them. I used self checkout and first scanned the original bar code on the back of the box, when I saw the price I scanned the yellow label on the front with the new discounted price and it returned “Error, call associate for help”. I called the girl that sits there to help when you have a problem and she said something like “ah, that means we are not supposed to sell these, but I will pretend I didn’t see” and cleared the error so I could continue scanning the rest.
Coincidentally I called a few stores that showed stock for the deeply discounted Android version of the Seek cameras this afternoon. None of them actually had any in stock.
For small/expensive items, when you call the store you might check to make sure the item isn’t “in the cage” at the customer service desk. If the website doesn’t show an aisle/bay, then there is a good chance that is where it will be found.
Tried to place an order for a couple of the Seek cameras for in store pickup. Received a call that they were not available and order was canceled. I noticed in the lowes script that it shows shipping available, but often times when you add to cart it only offers pickup or box delivery. Is there a way to see if parcel shipping is available from the search?
The shipping tab was a newer feature for the script , but lowes has been updating their website so it may be broken. From first glance it looked to be working for me earlier but i hadnt actually tried buying anything.
