I would say that’s pretty fair! I am eagerly awaiting that in-app purchase option! Lots of questions…
I wonder if anyone from ST can tell us what type of integration is available. Is it 2-way communication - can ST events control Harmony activities and Harmony-connected devices and vice versa?
What about the upcoming home hub extender with Zigbee and Zwave? That seems to be in conflict with the ST hub.
The release notes pretty answer my own question on what can be done with ST:

Very interesting and looks like Harmony may finally be opening up to other notions.
Like many others, I tried following the instructions referenced above in the link for adding SmartThings communication, but Phillips Hue is the only thing I’m seeing and probably need the upgrade (Requires an in app upgrade purchase. Coming soon) also referenced earlier.
Curious to hear from anyone who buys the upgrade for their Harmony Ultimate hub (software wise) and what integration it provides for ST, WeMo, or otherwise. Price wise…not a big deal if the Harmony in app upgrade purchase adds useful features.
Let us know what you find out and thanks for the updates!!!
Can someone discuss what types of actions can be created with this integration? I’m looking for things like can I turn off my TV activity when both my wife and I leave home?
I added my account to my Harmony Home ultimate, but I don’t understand how to control my ST Things with my remote? What am I missing? Do I have to add an activity?
Looks like the in-app upgrade is going out in the beta release this month so support for the harmony ultimate hub/remote should be available very soon!
I registered for the beta program a few months ago and received this email this week…
Hello Harmony Beta Community - and welcome to our new members!
The Harmony May release is almost ready for beta testing. The main part of this release is the long awaited update allowing Ultimate, Smart Control, and Ultimate Hub to control the full set of compatible home automation devices that Harmony Home remotes currently support.
Other changes include support for PS4, August (only through Connect for the moment), and Watch Netflix Activities (for specific IP-detectable smart devices).
These updates will as usual come through a firmware update for your remote/hub. In order to ensure you receive this update, please confirm your MyHarmony email/login ID by signing up through this quick survey. The remotes in your account will be activated to receive this new firmware once the beta tests begin. Please be sure to sign up before Monday May 4th at noon PST to ensure a smooth start!
New MyHarmony computer software and Harmony mobile app versions will also be available for testing. We’ll send another email notifying everyone once we are ready to begin, at which time you’ll be granted access to the beta forums which will contain all the information needed to get started,
Thanks for your patience while we wrap up the last details.
This message on SmartThings looks old and the update from Logitech for the older Harmony hubs went live just a few days ago. Any word on when Logitech will integrate support that will allow Smartthings to control IR devices through Logitech’s interface. I understand and having Logitech support to control lights is nice, but programming and automating processes from inside Harmony software is not as well integrated and would love to see interfacing working both ways!
The integration was working well during the beta phase however since “upgrading” to the production release I haven’t been able to connect the Harmony Hub to my SmartThings account. I suspect this is some how related to the beta testing, but I haven’t had time to troubleshoot it.
I just updated mine within the past few minutes. Used the MyHarmony software to reauthorize the connection and it it working fine for me. I can control lights from the remote. Hmm… Were you connected prior to the update?
