Location and hub dropdown menu is blank when adding new devoce in IDE

Hi.
Im fairly new to SmartThings, and I wanted to create my first viritual switch. I followed mattjfrank’s instructions from this thread (FAQ: Creating a virtual Device), but found that the drop-down menu for both location and hub are blank in the new devices-creator. My location and hub is showing in the IDE elswhere.
The creator refused to create a device without including a location or a hub.
My location is Oslo, Norway, it that matters.

Please let me know if anything is unclear or you need more information.
