Latest release limits Android widget to 2 routines…

Used to show all manual routines in the widget but now only allows 2 to be selected - whilst showing a 2x4 grid - so 2 empty positions

Latest app release on latest Android pixel 10, anyone else seeing this?

On Pixel 6a with Android 16. Could only select 2 routines, and the widget get stuck installing.

On Lenovo Tab with Android 15. I could select all 11 manual routines and these is room for 9 more. Installation was quick and works.

Missing the good old times:

Widget became unsorted on one of 3 android devices

You know you can sort them? [Screenshot_20240819_033107_One UI Home] [Screenshot_20240819_033120_SmartThings] [Screenshot_20240819_033146_SmartThings] I have to do that whenever I forget to share a new/replaced device with the other location members. I’m pretty sure that the sort order isn’t saved anywhere except on the device itself. If you uninstall and reinstall the SmartThings app, it’s gone.

I’m using a Samsung S24 Ultra with One UI 8.0 (Android 16) and I can select all 4. I don’t use the widget but tried it to see if it was affecting me and I don’t seem to have an issue. Wonder if it just limited to Pixel, Google Phones, or all non Samsung Phones. Hope you both can find what the problem is and get it fixed.

Perhaps you need a Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra 1 TB 16 GB to be able to display more than four routines in the widget.

I could definitly use the extra 4GB of Ram, lol. Already got the 1TB Storage.

Not likely, have to pay me, a fair amount too, to have a Samsung phone or tablet… It’d cost almost as much to have any Apple device actually

Technological bias aside, if things don’t work on a native Android totl Pixel, then they are not really fit for purpose - in my humble opinion.

Noticed a few days ago, I had a grid I resized to fit a matrix of 5×4 buttons all for controlling various smart devices around my house. From dimming or powering on/off any TV, turning on fans, lights, setting a sleep timer on my daughter’s tv, to even a single click routine to power on my wife and my TV’s, changing the input to consoles, and turning on both consoles when we wanted to play games. Needless to say, this update screws me out of so much time I used to save.
