I do not believe there are any pressure related heat problems to be honest.
The vents can suffer issues with the glue strips not adhering and potentially causing the grill to fall off, but this issue isn’t related to pressure in any way, nor is it directly related to the vent being opened or closed.
There is no direct correlation between a vents reported temperature and system static pressure, at least nothing that can be holistically or categorically applied as a safety pressure mechanism.
The relationship between air flow and subsequent system back pressure changes at a vent and the vents reported temperature has everything to do with where the vent is in relationship to the main trunks and the distance from the HVAC unit.
The best definitive way IMHO of preventing excessive system static pressure is to do it the way the HVAC professionals do it, and for $80 or less you can bring this into ST and eliminate the guess work.
