Life360 is the only presence detection we use. It really seems very reliable to me.
Since I moved over to the LIfe360 for Presence it does seem to be working much better. I don’t get why Smartthings can’t do the same with their presence but oh well. At least so far no more false alarms.
On another note, I guess presence is not important to them per say, they just said use Life360 connect and closed the case. I guess figuring out why theirs does not work or reports I’m home or not home when I’m really over 20+ miles away is not important… sigh…
And today sitting in the computer room at 4:04pm the doors lock security enables and I have left the house. Screenshots clearly show that both google maps and life360 say I’m home…
Geofence logs are ugly however.

Deleted my account on the phone and the ST App and rebooted it. Then rebooted the hub re-install the app and syncs right up. will be interested to see what happens next

Support has been the biggest sorry joke yet. Blaming so far everything on the phone but won’t do any troubleshooting no matter what proof I show that I’m at home and the hub says I’m not. Sorry Samsung and Smartthings, I’ll do what I can at this point to move on to something else and let folks know what a piece of s*** your product is and how support won’t do s*** but blame everything else. Phone call with support. Hmm life360 and smartthings getting bad data in the cloud… toggle myself in off and on in the life360 app fixed it. Go figure, I think I need a vacation…
At least they admit mobile presence isn’t the best and life360 while better has issues too…
For those in the presence trap, might as well look at something different. Smart things admitted nothing they can do but you keep removing the app and reinstalling it. We have no control over the issue.
