So I can exclude the hinge and the hub recognizes the device but when I go to include it, the hub cannot detect and add it… any clue on why?
if you are using a custom device handler for it - login to IDE, open the device hander and Publish for Me. Then exclude it again and try to pair
Set one of these up just tonight do I can get the garage lights on and off automatically when the door is opened. Pretty easy set up. I didn’t use a custom ide though?
For some reason it was not getting included into my system. Just detected to be excluded; never excluded. I just returned them and got ST multisensor to put on the doors. Cheaper and easier and smaller. GE Hinge sensor bigger and not that impressed with it.
