Anyone who have the Smartthings HUB and iSmartgate Pro connected.
When i try to connect using “add device”, the smartthings app says “Old firmware on iSmartgate”, but when i try to update the firmware in iSmartgate, it says “firmware up to date”
The iSmartgate firmware is version 1.5.9
“Remote Access” is enalbed in iSmartgate
You may also want to contact iSmartgate support. They own and manage the integration to ST. 
After contact them, they told me that ismartgate will release an update in the end of May to bring the Smartghings compatibility.

Let us know how it goes. I’m curious is you can add opening the garage/gate as an action/THEN using the automation creator or if only closing is allowed.
The Garage can be toggled between Open & Close. You can use in automation too. Cuurently I am using when I arive home option to open garage and it works. Also I have assigned a smart switch in the garage using automation to switch on and off - you will need to create 2 seperate automation i.e 1 for open and 2nd for close. Hope this helps
