This is a big part of what is wrong with ST. When things fail they require manual intervention to get going again. The worst part of it is that it silently fails. If you don’t manually monitor your stuff with vigilance then things just stop working and you are left wondering why and for the less technical users there is no obvious fix other than to call an overloaded support group.
