Is FireTV Cube v2 compatible with Alexa SmartThings skill?

I can enable the SmartThings skill for Alexa on my FireTV cube v2 but it does not discover any of my SmartThings hub connected devices. I have tried all the typical troubleshooting steps. Is the FireTV Cube v2 compatible with Alexa SmartThings skill?

Yes, the FireTV Cube v2 is compatible with the Alexa SmartThings skill.

I had given up on this since no answer was provided on either the Amazon Fire TV forum or the SmartThings Devices & Integrations forum. Recently the battery of one of my (ST connected) Zigbee motions sensors (Motion 2, STS-IRM-250) required a battery change. Without removing the device from SmartThings, I replaced the battery and added the device via the ST mobile app. After the device was added I received a notification from Alexa mobile app that a new device was found. After clicking on this notification Alexa set up the device which is now working with Alexa, showing motion and temperature status. So FireTV Cube v2 supports SmartThings integration.

I tried to repeat this with a second Zigbee motion sensor (Motion, Aeotec IM6001-MTP) but Alexa did not discover the device. For this device to be discovered I removed the device from SmartThings via the ST mobile app, removed the battery, started ST device discovery, then installed the battery. After the device was added to SmartThings, I received a notification from Alexa mobile app that a new device was found.

I tried to repeat this with a Zigbee Water Leak sensor (Centralite 3315-S branded SmartThings) and it is found by Alexa but it does not work. Clicking on the device in the Alexa mobile app brings up a cartoonish picture of a polar bear and a Try Again button. The Try Again button doesn’t do anything and the settings button is not there to remove the device from Alexa.

I have a couple of other sensors to try.
