which camera did you replace it with?
Did you happen to take any pics while you were doing this? Is the quality better than the standard Kuna camera which is pretty poor at night as is. How is it connected to the Kina light itself?

Has anyone tried to connect their Kuna lights now that an API has been documented? HomeAssistant users have created a custom component. I a newbie to the SmartThings platform and don’t know a thing about creating custom apps using APIs.

Thanks for sharing this link to the discovered API, but it is extremely limited (read-only API). For example, the provided API cannot be used to turn the light on or off.
Not very useful.
It is in fact not read only but you can indeed control the light and other features of the unit. I’ve not documented my own work on the API but it’s all exposed in the python module pykuna. I’ve recently bought a Smartthings Hub and may attempt to learn enough to integrate Kuna on this platform also.
