I’m thinking one of the plug in ultrasonic sound emitters using SmartThings motion sensor or even the zone sensor on an Arlo camera to trigger a smart switch. Anyone tries anything like this or any other suggestions? Having trouble with a dog, a cat, and a raccoon or two
Sure, several other community members have posted project reports with something like this. Usually people try either just a motion triggered light or a sprinkler.
Go to the quick browse lists in the community – created wiki. Scroll down towards the bottom of that page for the “project reports“ section. Then scroll down to the end of that section for the reports by room.
Choose the list for yard projects and you’ll find at least a couple there.
