IDE doesn't allow me to update devices

When i click on a device in the IDE, click “Edit” and then try to change anything, such as the name, and click “Update”, it throws an error message saying:

" Access to graph-eu01-euwest1.api.smartthings.comwas denied

You don’t have authorisation to view this page.

HTTP ERROR 403".

How do i fix this problem?

Use an incognito/private browser window.
It’s odd, but it works.

to me it happens in chrome, but not in firefox.

Interesting. I was using Chrome also so i tried IE and it works! Thanks

Ever since I added a v3 hub to my account and the new location was created on a different shard (east something), I started getting these errors as well. As far as I can recall the errors of this type on the older shard I was on with v2 were very rare. I too use Chrome and followed the suggestion of using Incognito to get around the error (which works) but I wonder whether the route cause is one of the following:

  1. New version of Chrome screwed something up?
  2. Changes to IDE?
  3. More than one location? I deleted my older one and still have issues though…
  4. Something wrong with the east shard?
