How to send your daily runtime ecobee stats to groveStreams for data correlation

Hello,

For those of you who are using the ecobee thermostats (ecobee3, Smart-SI, Smart, EMS), there is now a way to send your daily runtime stats (HVAC, fan, dehumidifier, humidifier, HRV/ERV) to groveStreams for data correlation with your sensors’ or presence data.

Go to https://github.com/yracine/device-type.myecobee/tree/56972261da35c9744a11bbce96e00e6ff2a00d2c/smartapps

And install the following smartapps: groveStreams.groovy and ecobeeGenerateStats.groovy.

Of course, you’d need to install the latest release of My ecobee device first (https://github.com/yracine/device-type.myecobee) and to sign up to www.grovestreams.com beforehand.

Does this still work? I see it stopped logging your Ecobee on Dec 1.

Yes, it does. Just the sample graphs are no longer populated.
