This topic came up two years ago, and I even posted about it, but it is 2025 now. I have vertical blinds on tracks (“head rails”) with a wand. The wand lets you twist it to tilt. The wand also can be held at various angles to push and pull the blinds along the horizontal track header to open and close the blinds all the way. Here are some parts.
I have been using the Current E-Wand for tilting, and it has been acceptable with SmartThings using Zigbee. I want a motor that can push and pull the blinds along the track.
I want to retrofit my existing track (head rail), rather than buying new track.
If I can’t retrofit my existing track, I might be willing to buy a new track but I would rather use my existing blind vertical vanes.
I would prefer to stick to Zigbee or Matter. What’s out there?
