Hi all,
I have 4 Hue bulbs linked to a Hue Hub (no the latest Homekit one) and i want to link the bulbs directly to my ST 2.0 hub. I know i first need to reset the bulbs and one way to do that is via the Lutron remote control.
My Hub is Uk version and the Hue system is also EU version. Will that remote work with my bulbs?
Can someone please help?
Thank you and merry Christmas!!!

I’m not sure if this is what you are looking for or if it will work in the EU but I figured I’d give you the link anyway. I hope it helps.
I’ve been playing with the other features of the Hue bulb, and I’ve updated the deviceType in a new branch on GitHub (enhanced features branch) adding a bunch of stuff that zigbee does natively in ZLL and providing greater flexibility. The additional custom commands can be called from custom SmartApps. I plan to create enhanced versions of other zigbee bulbs and a set of SmartApps to take advantage of the new features, so please let me know what you want to see.
BIG NOTE: This devicetype is intended for and tested only with directly connected Hue brand color bulbs. Some or all of the features should work with other directly connected zigbee RGB(W) lights. Hue Lightstrips should work well; but colors may be inconsistent due to color gamut differences. Everything except color temperature fo…

That Lutron remote is your best bet if you can find it over there. Zigbee is generally the same frequency everywhere, so it should work. You could also try the Hue UK forum if one exists for advice too.
Edited: Don’t listen to me! Check out @peter.major post below.
The Lutron remote is the easiest, but I don’t believe it’s available in the UK yet.
There is another method discussed in the following topic which uses a German device that you should be able to get:

Check out my post. I got this remote to reset my bulbs in the UK for £12:
Hi all,
I’ve decided to get rid of the Hue bridge and pair my Hue lights directly with the SmartThings Hub. Some of the lights I bought after that choice and I’ve been able to pair them with very little effort.
The bulbs that I paired with the Hue Hub, on the otherhand, have become expensive dust collectors. I’d really like to be able to factory reset them and pair them with ST. Especially because a couple of them are the really expensive multi-colour bulbs.
I’m in UK and both the ST hub and Hue hub were on Zigbee Channel 11, so there should be not channel problem that other people in the forums are mentioning.
I tried factory reseting the bulbs using TouchLink, but that doesn’t work. It only seems to transfer Hue bulbs from one ZLL network to another, NOT to factory reset it completel…

I just ordered one of these. Can you please describe the exact procedure for resetting the bulb?
Thank you so much for the tip!
Merry Christmas!
