I have Nest installed as a custom device. I noticed it has presence sensor functionality. How does this work? Does it just have the same time-out that would normally trigger auto-away?

Ok. So if I turn Auto-Away off, does this turn off presence functionality?
it works, but the only issue is that it takes an hour of no movement for nest to go to auto away, and I cant find a way to adjust that.
