I want a post in a thread to be the contents of a wiki page.
If I post a link, it just shows the link.
I believe that the forum software (Discourse), only supports embedding of certain limited content types. You can learn more at http://meta.discourse.org
Embedding of that sort will also only work if the URL starts on a fresh new line in the editor. No spaces, bullets, etc., and not in the middle of a paragraph.
The proper form, anyhow, is to paste the URL, and use the “Quote” feature (i.e., prefix each paragraph with “>”) to include a reasonable small portion of the article for context.
I posted a few that work, but the one I’m having trouble with is a link to the unofficial wiki.
It uses php so that may an issue.
