I purchased two of these several years ago. I have the water sensor version. These are no longer available, but mine still seem to work ok most of the time. I’ve got two questions 1). Does anyone know how to find the replacement sensor cable- I’ve searched but not found it. 2) the units occasionally go offline, typically after exposed to water for an extended period time. Does anyone know of any workarounds for this?
Have you contacted HomeSeer Support or Sales? Perhaps they still stock replacement parts for discontinued products. It never hurts to ask.
I asked a couple of years ago and they implied they discontinued the sensor because of quality issues with the sensor wire, so not luck there. I also searched online and found some other work arounds but unclear how those worked and what changes they did to get them to work. For now I think the sensor is working when not offline but was just curios..
