As someone who tinkers around with writing SmartApps but is a complete newbie to GitHub, it might be nice to have a spot to dedicated for GitHub related question. Just a thought.

I’m sure there are lots of commiserators and experts (and all our virtual friends) here; but unless the question is specifically related to the “GitHub Integration of the SmartThings IDE”, I think you’ll find there are plenty of excellent GitHub answers, Q&A’s, how-to’s, for-dummies, blogs, and forums out there.
Stackoverflow is the home of Q&A’s for all stuff coding related, ya know… for example:
