I used the “migrate to the new app”. It said it failed because I had already added STHM in the new app. I wanted to migrate only because it appears to be the only way to enable the Custom Monitors to replace custom SHM rules. But I’d already configured STHM to match my SHM rules – I just wanted the custom rules carried over (and not totally lost).
So I did what it suggested and deleted STHM (and the configured monitoring) and let the migration happen. Well, it did add the Custom Monitors with my existing rules. And it did re-add STHM. But it didn’t configure any of STHM – all the selections are empty. And since I can’t access SHM monitor anymore, I can’t re-copy any of those settings.
That’s a fail.
