Hi guys, I have this sort of generic led strip amazon here:
It seems to have Bluetooth connectivity. Is there a way to hook this into smartthings?
If you want to control these kinds of LED strips, I think the easiest way is to use a driver module from a company called Gledopto. They claim direct compatibility with both Philips Hue and Smartthings. I have one but not tried it yet. Looks very simple to connect.
There are a variety of RGBW controllers that work directly with SmartThings such as Monoprice Z-Wave Plus RGBW Dimmer Controller Module and Fibaro RGBW Controller. Just search these forums for RGBW Controller.
