I went thru 5 or 6 of these from Amazon for my 2 garage doors until I finally rec’d the newer versions. Pain in the a$$ but I think was worth the effort as the older versions seemed to have significantly less range/reliability. They now seem to be 99% working per my experience.

About GoControl, I was reading about their problems until I got hit by a storm. The controller beeping non stop. Tried multiple methods of revival from Internet, none works.
Called them, their support is LOW as it can be.
“if you didn’t bought it within the last year, from AT&T or one of their commercial dealers … forget about it”.
Really, them what about the retails sellers like Amazon, eBay, Home Depot, Lowes …
Now, looking into alternatives.
@Mandea What did you end up getting? I’ve got a MyQ that might be having Wifi-range issues, and I’m thinking about swapping out for a Zigbee or Zwave controller.
Anyone else have an opinion? Is the GD00Z a good choice?
