First Alert New 025 SMCO410 Z-Wave Battery-Powered Smoke Detector & Carbon Monoxide Alarm

Cool. Glad it worked for you.

I can’t get my v2 hub to connect, exclude or otherwise interact with the SMCO410. If I upgrade to the Aerotec v3 hub, do I still need to install Andreas_Roedl’s “Z-Wave Smoke Alarm (Snapshot First Alert 2025)” driver? Thanks!

Update: I replaced my v2 hub with Aeotec Smart Home Hub v3 (S2/Gen5). I was then able to pair the two SMCO410 from Costco. Follow Mykines instructions above to get the device into pairing mode. Here is something to keep in mind; if you scan the QR code on the device, you get an insecure connection and must exclude it and try again. The trick is to scan the QR code on the “business card” with the DC DSK info. It then pairs perfectly and no need to enter the 5 digit pin. The stock driver works fine. Too soon to tell about stability. Good luck!

I can confirm this works with the V2 hub (and apparently still the only way to get it working). The links changed, navigate directly to the Edge Driver Builder here.
