Currently I have these detectors connected to the hub and they work fine if there is smoke detected. I also have some motion sensors connected to the hub and they work fine.
Is there a way to trigger the alarm when an intruder is detected (and there is no smoke)?

These devices will only alarm when the built-in detectors indicate an alarm condition is present (i.e. smoke or CO).
You need a siren, chime, some other device like that to create an alarm when a motion sensor detects intrusion.
