Yes, works using the USB port and single coil. My concern is this center connection may make it too far to the side for the magnets to hold it straight. The old DigiYes side unit was no trouble but no one seems to sell the side units anymore. You probably could get it to work with a two gang box but I doubt one. Then again it may be worth a try. Regardless, I want to try behind the cover.
Does anyone know the website describing which is 5v and which negative. I can’t seem to find it.
I’m using the sigle coil as well. I ran the battery down all the way and had no problem recharging it using my new charger.
@beckwith Im about to place the order for the Rerii and want to make sure I get all the correct parts. Can you define the parts that work with the Rerii, so I dont have to return and reorder items?

Other than the Rerii, all the items I list in the first post are what I used and are still working since I got them back in October. Let me know if you have any other questions and let us know how it works for you.
@Turb02 can you post your full parts list if you are able to get this working? I tried it with every possible combination with the following parts and never got the Fire to charge

All items have since been returned since I did not have luck with any combination. The only part that was static throughout was the charger.
I actually shelved this project momentarily, to focus on light/temp/motion configurations. Good thing I did because Ive determined that my daughters room drops to 65 at night, which is ammo I can use on my wife for Keen vents.
I double checked your list and it looks like you should have a good combination. I would suspect a bad sending coil.
Yeah, I would’ve suspected the coil to be the problem as well but I tried three separate coil units…
Which leads me to believe it was either the charger or the Fire tablet itself. I’m gonna give it awhile and see if another person has luck and I’ll attempt it again.

Seems to be roll of the dice. I couldn’t get the iDOO to work.
I suspect it is the Fire tablet. I made a slit in the USB opening to slide the receiver under the cover:
It worked great. I then tried playing around with magnets and landscape orientation. Now it does not charge. The blue light on the transmitter lights but I get no “ding” confirmation.
I put the cover on a different Fire tablet and it works fine.
Makes no sense. I can charge with a USB cable so it isn’t the connection.
Glad to hear it wasn’t all user error on my part. After trying every possible connection and hearing it worked for others I thought I was going insane. Let me know if you are able to get the wireless charging working again. I plan on purchasing a 2nd Fire tablet in the next month so I will give it another shot then.

Yes, however, one Fire tablet just no longer works with the receiver. Doesn’t make sense.
Hi,
Just a note that the DigiYes receiver you link to at the top is incorrect (or redirects). It now goes to a wide up, narrow down 500mA unit. I accidentally ended up buying the wrong one (should have paid better attention).
I’m looking for an alternative, but haven’t found one yet.
