I currently have a fan with a knob control in the wall that is not connected to the internet. I was wondering if I could replace it with the GE smart paddle fan controller. I assume I can but I wanted to make sure it wouldn’t burn the fan motor out.
Short answer is yes, the GE Fan control should work fine. GE 12730 for the Z-Wave version and 14287 for the Z-Wave Plus version.
