Execute a Routine using a virtual switch or button?

Is there a way to execute a Routine using a virtual switch or button? My scenario is I’m trying to execute a routine when a managed lock is unlocked. I was planning to use IFTTT to “push” the button for the routine when the lock is unlocked. I have a lot of other actions already tied to routines. Open to other ways of doing this if anyone has suggestions!

Sure, there is a smart app in the marketplace section of the smartthings mobile app for just this purpose. It’s very popular. The only thing is that it has been around for a long time and it uses the old terminology of “hello home phrase” instead of “routine.” But it means the same thing.

  1. Open the mobile app

Two) tap on the “marketplace” icon in the lower right

  1. choose SmartApps at the top of the screen

  2. choose lights and switches

  3. scroll down until you see the smart app, then click on it and follow the instructions to install.

Awesome, thanks! Makes total sense now that there would be one. I also just realized the User Lock Manager smart app has a built in Global Hello Home feature for this.
