I have my ecobee4 and associated room sensors added to SmartThings. However, I’ve noticed that some of the sensor fluctuate their temperatures within SmartThings. For example, at 11:40 p.m. the room sensor will read 71.9 degrees in SmartThings. Two minutes later at 11:42 p.m., the same room sensor will read 73.8 degrees in SmartThings. At 11:45 p.m., the temp is showing 71.9 again. This oscillation will continue.
I downloaded the ecobee logs, and the temperatures for the sensor are very stable and match the 73.8 values I’m seeing in SmartThings, so it seems to be the 71.9 readings in SmartThings are the anomaly.
I’ve replaced the battery in the sensor and moved its location. The temp readings are stable and accurate within ecobee. What would cause readings in SmartThings to be so erratic?
