I have written webcore pistons that open / close my keen vents based on the heating / cooling set points verses the vent temp and the room temp. Ecobee was not working correct so I removed it and reinstalled it. Now, heat set point is no long an option. So, my pistons no long function.
Many of the newer integrations that are not based on groovy do not expose all their capabilities to webcore.
Note: webcore will be phased out when groovy is shut down.
Any recommendations on what is a good alternative? Or, do I need to be looking at changing over to Hubitat or Home Assistant.
Hi, there is MyEcobee device which brings more features and automation scenarios. And, it’s also available under the Hubitat platform if you want to switch to Hubitat later.
